Loved the property, the site itself, the peace and quiet and the hot tub. Really liked being able to park up right alongside the cabin. The privacy of the hot tub area was a plus too. Great location as we visited Beverley, York and the Designer Outlet during our stay and the local villages either side of the site made shopping for bits and pieces very easy. We also checked out the nearby spa and golf club whilst we were at it.
Stayed 2 nights and used the hot tub on 3 occasions, during which the water level in the tub dropped a little and I wasn’t sure what to do to have it topped up, so didn’t get to use it again before we left. Not a dislike by any stretch of the imagination… just an observation as we will most definitely return and stay longer next time.

Beautiful lodge with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very comfortable bed. Slept great every night... very unusual for an insomniac!! Amazing view across the lake with daily visits from the geese and their babies. Gorgeous well maintained grounds with fab extras... chickens and fairy area and cosy corner (chocomilk... yummm). We will be back!
Absolutely nothing!
