The host is very nice , communicative and proactive and speak good English. Always quick to solve any problem or issue. The apartment is comfortable for one person or a couple even for a long stay, if you do not need a kitchen. There is strong internet, a great TV (which can only be used to see series and movies in Chinese, but a nice trick is to connect it to your laptop via a HDMI cable...) and a nice comfy bed separated from the living room area. The area also is very nice, quiet and residential, with many cafes , restaurants and a decent supermarket nearby. The neighbours are also very nice and friendly. I stayed a month and felt at home. I left my heart in Shanghai when I left, and part of it might definitely found in this place.

The only thing I missed for a big wardrobe. Maybe also a working area with an ergonomic chair. Not having a kitchen could be an issue for some, not for me as I am too lazy to cook anyhow :)

Great apartment for a solo or couple. Really comfortable and clean - great location and great host! Would recommend staying here when visiting Shanghai
