Nice neighbourhood. Linhay was clean, comfortable beds, a proper dining table, Joy was helpful with information like parking etc. left us shortbread and teabags.

Communication with the owner was excellent, as was the cottage . The decor and quality of the facilities throughout couldn't be faulted. Proximity to the road out to part of Exmoor on the doorstep. The view from the garden seats across the town.
Though in a picturesque older area it's worth knowing it is in a hilly part of the town with some narrow streets.
Also worth knowing in advance that the shower and toilet are on the ground floor.

The property was very quaint and perfectly located in the best part of Minehead with wonderful views and easy access to the town and harbour and surrounding areas

The quiet location and the views.
Designated parking. A less cluttered courtyard to sit in. The smell from the bathroom sink and shower drain were awful, we realize that the cottage is very old and terraced which may mean the drains are interconnected but something needs to be done. The lounge settee is very low and there was no other comfortable seats. The rugs tended to curl up at the ends which could be hazardous for any age.
