Love the staff and the whole family who owns the place. They were so warm and welcoming. I got several things for free, such as: several cups of cofee, extra hours for late checkout, and even free snacks for the road when we checked out. The staff are super helpful and easy to reach.
The room is not cleaned daily, so whenever we ran out of toilet roll we need to ask for it. And since the rooms are designed rustic and old fashioned, there were lots of open holes or ventilations that allowed small animals (e.g. gecko) to enter the room and literally make a mess in the room. However they provide cleaning tools (e.g. broom) for guests to clean their own room.
Secondly, there were no hot water. I guess it was stated in the details, but i wasnt expecting Banyuwangi to be that breezy and of course having hot water to shower would definitely helps.
