We had a wonderful stay at Bethel House! The house has everything you need for a comfortable weekend away, and the area is peaceful and relaxing. We especially enjoyed taking our dogs for lovely walks around the area.
The safety gate at the stairs was a great addition and made things much easier with both our dogs and our 2-year-old toddler. Any small issues we had during our stay were sorted out quickly, and the host was wonderful with communication throughout.
A few small suggestions: the rugs could benefit from non-slip tape underneath, I also understand that it is a self-catering accommodation, but having a few sachets of coffee and perhaps a small bag of sugar available would be a lovely little touch for guests arriving.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Bethel House for a peaceful getaway.

It was exceptionally clean and spacious. It was peaceful and felt very safe. We loved the small safe enclosed garden area for the dog. The host Diedre was so lovely, attentive and very helpful. The cotton bedding was crisp and hotel luxurious. The beds were firm and very comfi. It was the perfect peaceful getaway. Our doggo had a blast and we appreciated the little gate at the top of the stairs to keep her out of the living area when needed.
The kitchen would benefit from more utensils like a whisk and serving spoons. A coffee machine for pod users and a French press would be lovely conveniences for coffee lovers. Non slip rubber rug runners or strips under the rugs would be advisable as the rugs were a little treacherous and could result in some nasty accidents. We would have preferred it being closer to the beach but it wasn't a train smash. Small heaters for the bedrooms for the winter months would be great. We would have loved access to the jacuzzi as the nights were very cold and it would have been fun for our group. Handwash would be an added bonus.

Everything one needs for a relaxed holiday all in one place..whether it be summer or winter the house caters for it.. clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities. Loved the communication between the hosts and myself, and the support and help in trying to sort out a tiny issue.
A tiny issue with the fridge but we managed to work around it.
