I absolutely loved my stay at Cuba Street Rooftop Gem. It is such a unique little place, a cosy tiny home tucked away on top of a building in the middle of Wellington with ourdoor relaxing areas. Travelling on my own, I felt completely safe and very comfortable there. It has a wonderful private, tucked-away feeling while still being right in the heart of Cuba Street, with everything so close by. Located 1/2 a block from Les Mills so I could go everyday on my 3-day stay.
The space has so much character and is beautifully thought out. It is cosy, warm and different from anywhere else I have stayed, which made the whole experience feel really special. The host was wonderful, genuinely warm, welcoming and helpful and his lovely son Jasper made sure I was settled in and had everything I needed. It was those personal touches that made the stay even more memorable. Five star experience. I would definitely stay again. If you are looking for somewhere a little different, full of character, comfortable, safe and brilliantly located, this is a real Wellington gem.
Honestly, nothing. Everything was perfect for me. The space is unique, cosy, comfortable and very well thought out, and I felt completely safe staying there on my own. I wouldn't change a thing.

What a gem :) You get exactly what is described on the box - yes, it is small but also perfectly formed. Love the coffee machine, comfy bed and pillows.
The only thing I missed was a hair dryer but everything else was available.

Super cute. Warm cozy and private.
Great location and felt safe and tucked away despite being in the city center.
There's a fridge, microwave and tea and coffee so I could make breakfast.
Excellent communication.
Was great for me.
The stairs are steep and the bathroom is compact, so if that's not good for you this isn't the place.

La ubicación céntrica
No se puede cocinar y te avisan cuando ya reservaste, está ubicado en el altillo de un edificio hay que salir a la terraza para poder entrar a la habitación
y no es un apartamento como dice el aviso sino un dormitorio con baño todo muy chiquito no hay lugar para el guardado del equipaje, ni de la ropa
