Very cosy and well equipped, just perfect for what we wanted

The smoke detector kept going off

Location for us was good. Comfortable, great WiFi. Excellent selection of tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water, sugar and sweetners. Good dishwasher.

No scissors in the kitchen, perhaps add a pair. The microwave was positioned far too high, even at over 6 foot tall I could not remove hot dishes without fear of dropping them using the oven gloves provided, as they were too thick and stiff. The sink would benefit from a plastic tray to drain dishes, The hot water from the kitchen tap was very difficult to regulate, it was either cold or far too hot, not a fan of that system. The bottom drawer front housng pans is broken, one side of the hinge was broken when we arrived. Fridge door binds on the adajcent door under the oven making a loud bang when opening the fridge door fully, just needs adjusting. It could do with a light over the mirror in the bathroom, it was a bit dark. The extractor fan was quite noisy, possibly dirty, or out of alignment. It is the only extractor fan I know of that also blows out cold air at the same time as sucking it out! These comments are made to be constructive, it did not spoil our week just observations that may help the owner improve upon a nice house.

Well appointed

No heating which had to be repaired the evening we were there to celebrate a family birthday ! we had a few months old baby with us and required heat for a frosty evening ! and we had to wait in after copious messages eventually resulting in someone turning up at around 9pm leaving about 11 after spending time on video links and ? It was finally fixed we’d had to resort to buying a supermarket pizza and heating it whilst we waited and the fire alarm kept going off BAD start to a very short stay that spoilt the reason we were there
