Jasper East Hostel - Near Jasper National Park East Gate Entrance

Hostel 40 min from Jasper, room small but adequate, common facilities good. For the Jasper area the value is good.

Its a hostel so daytime limits on when you can use the facility.

Lovely having your own room and bathroom but still a good price, kitchen and nice shared spaces. Also, beautiful and peaceful location, though a bit far from Jasper (40 minutes driving, absolutely worth it)

Could have been a bit cleaner and the beds are quite short (I am 1.80cm) and I barely fit, my feet were smashed in the wall)

The listing advertises in-room connectivity as "mountain WiFi," which is misleading. In reality, there was no functional WiFi available in the rooms. Had it been clearly stated that in room WiFi was not provided, that would have been acceptable—poor connectivity is one thing, but complete absence of is another. This discrepancy feels less than transparent. Additionally, the property is located approximately 40 km outside of Jasper. While I acknowledge I could have researched this further, clearer communication regarding both the WiFi and location would have been appreciated.
