Très arrangeant pour l’arrivée alors que l’établissement etait fermé.

Location was perfect for breaking our journey, just a few moments off the Peage. Room was spacious and very contemporary. Access was via one flight of stairs and parking was adjacent and at no additional cost. Breakfast was acceptable, although there seemed to be some misunderstanding over our being veggie when we were presented with various types of sliced sausage. Probably V tasty if that’s what you want. This was replaced with more cheese varieties on our request.

We arrived early and found the hotel locked. We waited until the room ready time of 3.00PM but still not open. By 3:10 we called the number to let them know we were outside. 15-20 minutes later a very polite Gent arrived and showed us to our room whilst also letting us know the restaurant was not open on tonight and left again. (This was a Monday in September) There is nothing else in the village. We later drove 30 minutes to Verdun and enjoyed a Pub meal. When we returned from our unexpected trip to Verdun we heard the room next door was now occupied and endured 2 hours or more of a female, apparently on her phone to everyone she knows. Sound proofing between the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Another minor gripe, no soap in the dispenser in the bathroom and no one there to ask for refill. I can’t help wondering why they didn’t send me a text message with the door key code to let ourselves in instead of having to wait around for two hours. We would have mentioned the lack of soap when we were leaving after breakfast, to help the next room occupant, but staff seemed busy elsewhere.

Clean well presented with comfortable beds and spacious room. easy access to autoroute with lovely restaurant.

No tea and coffee facilities in room

Good location near the motorway.

No air conditioning. As the bedrooms are in the loft area, on a warm night you need to have the window’s open. Lots of local road noise, if you are a light sleeper, forget it! No kettle in the room, so no chance to have a hot drink in the room.
