It is well located in the centre of Hawes. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The pub was closed while we stayed, I imagine it could be noisy if it were open. Breakfast was next door and was very good.
It was market day the following day so we couldn't park outside the pub. We parked in the free car park opposite but it was a case of hanging around for a spot and even this is used for the market so it was a bit hairy as to whether we would be able to get out the next day. It was all fine in the end but was a little worrying. This only applies to market day (Tuesday)

No one there at night, no food available , bar closed 7pm

Location excellent. Easy access, parking. Room clean and fresh bedding.
The shower wasn’t very clean around door. Extractor fan wasn’t working and damp/mould on wall.

Center of town location, lovely big bedroom with views over the high street.
Noisy plumbing works.
