De bedden. Na een reis van 21 dagen waren dit de lekkerste bedden. Leuk in het buitenleven en de klamboes werken hier fijn. Zwembad werd dagelijks schoongemaakt die bij de accommodatie hoort.

El entorno es alucinante, hay que entender donde estas y es en plena naturaleza por lo que puede haber animales o bichos. La piscina es una locura y el personal super amable

We had a very enjoyable stay at Private Pool Sun Shade Resort & Spa. The property is surrounded by beautiful, peaceful scenery and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor areas are lovely and complement the quiet setting perfectly. Our room was extremely spacious, and the private pool was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. It was beautiful and gave us a great space to relax in complete privacy. We were also very happy to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise and made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of local Sri Lankan options. We particularly appreciated being able to try different local dishes rather than having only the usual international breakfast choices. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff also helped us with our luggage. Overall, we felt the property offered very good value for money, especially considering the size of the room, the beautiful private pool and the peaceful surroundings.

Unfortunately, we did not find the staff particularly friendly or welcoming, which was disappointing and felt somewhat out of place compared with the otherwise very enjoyable experience. The biggest issue for us was discovering that guests could not leave the property between 10pm and 7am. This restriction had not been communicated to us beforehand, and we feel that something this important should be made very clear to guests before arrival. Regardless of whether you plan to go out during those hours, knowing in advance that you cannot freely leave the property is important when choosing where to stay.

We liked the location and our private pool. We also appreciated that the food was local and reflected the local cuisine.

The indoor areas were very narrow and did not feel comfortable. The room lacked basic amenities, and the overall cleanliness was below expectations. There were no cocktails available, and the food in the restaurant was not labeled or described, which made choosing meals inconvenient. We did not like that breakfast was scheduled for a specific time, but this time was not respected, as the food was available on the buffet 15–20 minutes later, which disrupted our schedule and affected our tour plan.
