Volta 70

Definitely, and somewhat surprisingly, our best accommodation in this part of Italy. The room was tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail and excellent lighting. The view of the city and Mount Vesuvius was absolutely stunning. Although the street outside is quite lively, the windows provide excellent sound insulation, so you can hardly hear anything at night. The location is fantastic: the city center is only a 15-minute walk away, and both the train station and the Alibus stop are located directly in front of the apartment. Breakfast was served at a lovely café right below the accommodation, including a coffee and a croissant of your choice. The host was exceptionally responsive, replying to all messages within minutes. Upon arrival, he gave us a thorough tour of the property and recommended a great nearby pizzeria.

Good communication from host easy to find 5 min walk to the bus and train station 25 min to the port Nice reaturants in walking distance Old building but modern rooms

Liked everything

Once inside the hotel space was very clean, bright, spacious, and nicely decorated. Also it was very well located if you go for few days, easy to move.

The entrance of the building could be a little crowded with vendors. But nothing to worry about.

Closeness to the train station

If you do not pay attention when booking, you will end up in a very small room with the view of the back alley. We tried to get the property manager to change rooms but the other rooms were booked. Also, there are a bunch of shady people hanging around the entrance to the property and it made my wife very nervous. You have to pay 20 cents to use the elevator. We asked the manager for an extra blanket and 2 pillows several days in advance and he only gave us the pillows after arriving and requesting the pillows and blankets again. We never got the blanket and I was already too worn out with the manager at that point. In all, I should have not booked at Volta 70. And I would not recommend it to anyone.
