The location was fantastic in the New Town of Edinburgh. The apartment was well furnished, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The laundry with the washer/dryer was very convenient. It was nice to be able to cook a dinner and breakfast after eating restaurant food for so many days before this stay.

Due to the nature of the historic building, this apartment has 78 steps to reach it. Something to consider when booking, you definitely get your steps in! We knew there was no elevator but underestimated the number of steps. Glad we only packed small carry on bags. Hosts, please consider more than 2 rolls of toilet paper, some paper towels (Kitchen Paper) a rubber spatula and a microwave. Our stay was 4 days and we had one dish drying towel and two dishwasher tabs. No napkins, nor tissues and no paper towels. The other essentials provided were really nice quality and much appreciated. Thank you for providing salt and pepper. My wife would have appreciated a vanity in the bedroom to get ready in the morning. A table with an outlet nearby at the very least to dry her hair, etc. We brought a chair from the dining room to prop the bedroom door open and another to sit in front of the mirror where there was an outlet to dry hair. A second suitcase stand would also be a nice touch in that big bedroom!

Clean modern apartment . Great location

We booked Dragon Suites for two friends visiting us from Australia and they absolutely loved their stay. The message we received from them afterwards said it all — they couldn’t thank us enough for choosing such a beautiful place for them to stay. The apartment was gorgeous — beautifully designed, stylish and incredibly comfortable, with so much attention to detail. Everything was spotlessly clean and felt very high quality. They particularly loved how spacious the apartment was and said it felt like a real home away from home rather than just somewhere to sleep. The location was fantastic for exploring Edinburgh, while the apartment itself was peaceful and relaxing to come back to at the end of the day. Check-in was easy and everything had clearly been thought through to make the stay effortless. Our friends travelled a very long way from Australia and we really wanted somewhere special for them. Dragon Suites couldn’t have been a better choice. They left Edinburgh with wonderful memories and were already talking about coming back. We would happily book again and recommend Dragon Suites to friends and family visiting Edinburgh.

Nothing at all – our friends had a wonderful stay.

Great location and overall a nice apartment.

Don’t take it if you’re planning to have people sleep on the sofa couch - lots of light in the room and loud from both road noise and a ventilator that seemed to come on at night just about the time you’re hopping for some shut eye.
