Rainshadow Retreat definitely exceeded our expectations. The property was comfortable and cosy, and gave a feeling of serenity that you aren't going to get at a motel. All amenities were provided and the outside chimenea and bath were an excellent touch. Location is tucked out of the way enough to feel like a little sanctuary, but still close enough to towns and touristy hubs. Starlink was a nice bonus.

Couldn't find any information about leaving the gate closed or open. We left it closed at all times just in case, only a very minor gripe.

Everything about this property from the comfortable bed to the outdoor facilities, the location and surrounds

This place was just perfect for a real escape. Beautifully crafted and cleverly designed it had everything we needed. The view was stunning - you really did feel like you had it all to yourself whether that was from the bath tub, the 'bar', the outside dining space or the bed, the place really does make the most of the surroundings.

It’s stunning scenery , its seclusion, its thoughtful design . Just a unique property where at night I could not see a light elsewhere except a full sky of stars . Day time companions were the beautiful little blue wrens , what a treat.

Nothing .
