To byłoby świetne mieszkanie, gdyby nie drobiazgi, które barzdzoo przeszkadzają (a które możnaby łatwo usunąć): 1. właściciel zafundował nam kilka nerwowych mnut w windzie - nie przekazał informacj, że podczas wpisywania kodu trzeba trzymać przycisk otwierania drzwi windy - bez tego nie można było jej uruchomić 2. pobyt zaczęliśmy od kupienia mydła - zestaw kospetyków składał się wyłącznie z papieru toaletowego; i kupienia baterii do pilota 3. zestaw kuchenny to ekspres (bez kawy, niestety) i turystyczny czajnik, który sam się włączał. Brakowało herbaty i cukru, za to był kilkuletni zapas soli 4. źle skręcone kszesła groziły wypadkiem więc musieliśmy je dokręcić 5. i najważniejsze - okropny zapach z rur w łazience, w niektórych momentach także w kuchni. Wiemy, że to stara kamienica, ale odnowiony, wyłożony marmurem korytarz tego nie zapowiadał

This apartment had almost everything we needed and was in an excellent location. The bed was comfy, the shower room really nice with a rainfall shower head and hand held shower head. There was plenty of storage space. It is very quiet, we only heard an occasional door over the week and it was a surprise to go from the peaceful setting through the main door into the hustle and bustle. The tv is on a wall bracket and can be moved to create a small lounge type area using the sofa bed. The heating worked fine and we were always warm enough. Check in is straight forward if you read the instructions and watch the video clip which we were sent straight away once we notified the host we had arrived. Disability and mobility (if interested). The apartment is not fussy, so no rugs to trip on, all one level and spacious. It is on the 6th floor accessible by lift, however there are steps to the lift in a configuration of 1, 12, 4, 3,and 2 from the street. It is four metro stops (line A) from the main station and only 50m to the apartment block. There are bus stops directly outside including the night bus in case your flight is in the early hours (tickets cost 1.5 euro and can be bought from the kiosk by the bus stops). Everything is within easy walking distance including the Vatican at the other side of the river. However if distance is a problem there is a circular bus 119 that goes from Piazza del Popola. There is an enormous park, entrance 50m away, which is lovely to get away from the crowds - golf buggies, peddle carts and go carts can be hired to get around. Do your homework on the bus routes and metro and you could easily get around the sites. Coeliacs -There is a GROM, gluten free gelato shop just next to the entrance. The supermarket less than 100m away has a gluten free section, loads of fresh produce and a large range of cheese and meats all clearly labelled senza gluten.

It would have been helpful to have a hand towel in the kitchen, as well as a tea towel and dish cloth. There is a dishwasher but if you're only using a few plates it's quicker to hand wash. Other kitchen items I would have found useful would be small side plates, fish slice, small saucepan, salad spinner, small paring knife and vegetable peeler. Obviously this is down to how much cooking you want to do and personal preference but we choose a self catering option because after sight seeing we were too tired to go out in the evening to eat.

The apartment is in the perfect location in Rome. My partner and I were only staying for a few days and had a lot of tours booked, so this location allowed us easy access by walking or metro to the other parts of the city. The apartment itself has a lot of space and the owner was very helpful.
