Αρχοντικό Βιζυηνού

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, sehr nah an altem Kern von Xanthi und doch sehr ruhig; Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war sehr angenehm!!

The room is definitely very clean, and the location is great. You're in the old town within a 3-4 minute walk. However, there is no hair dryer. This was definitely a problem for me. What's more, from the photos I saw the upper entrance of the apartment. I wrote to their WhatsApp line, but even though a week has passed since my holiday, there's still no reply. Very strange! The neighbors around there told me that there is also an entrance from below. Otherwise, I was starting to think the outer door code they gave me was wrong

Terrasse, zentrale Lage, dennoch ruhig, sauber

The very central location in the old town of Xanthi and yet in a quiet street without the sounds of music or the crowds. Historical building that has its own small garden. Easy to check-in and check-out.

It’s more Airbnb than a hotel, so don’t expect the cleaning service. Although we asked to change the towels once they left the new set for us, but the dirty were still in the room. The “kings suite” is the micro room in the basement, with humidity and small bed. When you hear the “kings suite” expectations are at least that there will be a king size bed, but the room feels much smaller than on the pictures. Air condition existed, but it was blowing directly on our faces at night so we weren’t able to use. The last day there was also cut of the water supply, it’s obviously not the hotels fault, but at least they could inform us. Internet wasn’t fast enough even for Instagram reels. Overall 228 Eur for 3 nights without breakfast and cleaning isn’t the best balance of price and quality especially when you stay in the basement without the daylight. You will be asked in the end of your stay to leave the property in the same condition as it was on arrival, so probably we should have done the cleaning service for the next guests. Overall impression is “ok, but not coming back”.
