La Casa delle Dee - Self Check-in

We absolutely loved our stay at La Casa delle Dee! The location is excellent — just on the edge of Bologna’s historic center, so you can easily walk to restaurants, shops, cafés, and all the beautiful streets in the city. The house has a lot of charm and character, but it’s also beautifully renovated and extremely clean. My wife usually brings her own blanket everywhere we stay, but this place was so clean she didn’t even use it — which says a lot! 😂 Everything was comfortable and easy, including the shower, which was clean and worked perfectly. We had a car, and there’s a 24-hour parking garage about a five-minute walk away. One entrance is outside the ZTL, so if you’re driving, just use Google Maps and pay attention to which way you enter. We arrived around 10 PM, and self check-in was super easy and completely stress-free. Yes, there are stairs, but honestly, we thought they added to the charm. You’re staying in an old Italian home in historic Bologna — that’s part of the experience! 😄 If you enjoy historic buildings, old Italy, and staying somewhere with real character, this is a great choice. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back!

Honestly, we didn’t dislike anything. Everything was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for.

The room was clean, bright and had great water pressure in the shower. The host was very responsive to emails. There are some very good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk

There are a lot of stairs to access the room, which is not ideal with heavy suitcases

Wonderful location and comfortable room. Perfect for a quick layover in Bologna. Room was beautifully decorated. Host was very helpful and checkin smooth.
