Sukoon by The Ganges with Private Ganga Ghat

The Hotel is in a quite location at Kankhal, Near Daksh Mandir.. About 4 Kms from Har Ki Paudi..It has access to the Ganges and also has a ghat where you can have a dip and perform poojas or Arti. The rooms are 4 star standard with well maintained facilities and clean linen. The gave me a double with 2 bedrooms.. may be the other single bed rooms were occupied. The restaurent service was better than expected with very freindly and well informed staff and good selection of menu and a decent breakfast.

All was ok except accessbilty as it it a few kms away from main pilgirmage centres and temples.. Autos were easily availbale

I liked the Ganga ghat that they have. The beds were Cosy and clean.

There were lot of insects in the room and a rat ran pass when I opened the room door. The last room next to the kitchen has these issues.

Ganga Aarti, ganga snan, ganga view from balcony and food.

Breakfast is not upto the mark as we expect from a standard 3/4* hotel.

One Room had a foul smell
