Drove my son up to Newcastle Uni to get him settled in. Was a 6 hr drive and was looking forward to a lovely relaxing place to stay overnight - the Angel of Corbridge was just that. The room was spotless and so comfortable and the breakfast splendid. Michael was so friendly and helpful too - it was the day of the Great North Run and he helped me navigate my way around Newcastle to get back to my son and then home! I have booked to stay again - it was excellent.
Everything was great.

This is ideally located for Corbridge and venturing further afield. The room was medium sized and the bathroom was basic but very clean with a decent shower. The breakfast was free and the cooked element was excellent. There’s good private parking too

Great location, nice breakfast and quite comfortable.
Rooms quite basic for the money we paid. Could do with some TLC especially in bathroom. Turned up for 3pm check in and told room was not ready and sent away for half an hour. When asking why just got a shrug of the shoulders and said they were busy. Not great customer service. No hand wash in bathroom and no tea bags in room. Had to refill everything myself.
