Kora Beach Resort Phuket

Overall it was a near perfect experience for us. we stayed 5 nights at kora. The hotel is located in the northern edge of bagtao beach. A very quite place with mostly premium hotels and not much more. The hotel has stunning looks. it is very beautiful everywher, the lobby, the pools, the dinning area and the rooms. the first floor rooms have a terrace straight to the pool. that can be very cool if you like it and a bit annoying if you love privacy... in that case dont take a room in the ground floor. our room was on the fourth floor, a 5 bed suite with two bed rooms. it was amazing. it was huge and well equiped. there are 3 restrooms, lots of closets (the closet room is the size of a whole room in most hotels 😅). the kitchen had a coffe machine, oven, microwave, induction cooktop, fridge and some basic cooking utilities. there were 3 huge smart tv screens. huge terraces with view to the pool and the ocean. the pool is super awesome, there are plenty of pools all around the hotel. the gym is good and well equipped. breakfast is excellent with a huge variety. service was top notch everywhere. the room was always super clean and they left us nice little surprises everyday.

some places smell of mold. one of our closets, the gym and the elevators. the beach is not amazing, it has a steap entrance which is not fun and there are no beach beds or anything like that, it is a natural and very quite beach. lastly take into account that there is  nothing in walking distance around. you have to drive anywhere or take a taxi.

I visited many 5 star hotels, but I think this one is the only one out of Europe that really deserve his rating. Room was comfortable with all you need. Fitness good, restaurants and bars well designed, pool area beautifully maintained. But breakfast was the win with diverse Thai and international offer. And all for very reasonable out of season price. The beach is steps away.

You should have a car, scooter or Bolt to navigate surrounding.

Truthfully, I can’t place my head around one particular thing.

The room was extremely comfortable and clean we had a great sleep! The facilities were well kept too.

The location was a bit annoying as it was far away from the main area and close to lot’s of construction sites. However, the resort offered a free shuttle service which is great for travelling to and from.
