The location was great. Bed comfy and apartment simple but nice. Also the complex felt secure which was important for me.
The details from Booking.com that I received stated that luggage storage was available. It was not, because it was a Sunday. This was extremely inconvenient as I was leaving that evening and had a day planned in Melbourne. The reception suggested I take my bags to the railway station (only 5 stops away on the tram) so not very helpful, they also didn't really apologise and initially denied that the info was on the booking info, sometimes a simple "I'm sorry" goes a long way. Fortunately there was another company in the building, so I went and asked them and they very kindly agreed to store my luggage for free.

There was confusion about the room. Someone had already checked into the room I was allotted initially.

Location
Exceptionally poor communication. No Manager at on site reception, contact phone number recorded message only and no
Response received to messages left. Mould in shower and broken leaking shower hose, exhausted fan in bathroom also not working. Issues raised with management and no response received. Advertised as wifi provided but no login details provided or information about any services. Room had Smokey musty smell. TV remote had flat batteries.
A long weekend should have had appropriate staff.
