La ubicación es genial porque aunque toca caminar unos 25-30 min aprox hasta el centro es un paseo agradable si el clima te acompaña sino la alternativa del bus que está muy cerca también está bien. Para llegar desde el aeropuerto hay que coger dos autobuses y aprox se necesitan 50min pero por eso está en una zona muy tranquila. Es pequeñito y acogedor, ideal para una pareja que pase unos días de visita en la ciudad. La limpieza está muy bien. La cama de abajo es muy cómoda. Aunque finalmente no cocinamos nada la cocina se veía bien equipada , solo utilizamos la cafetera . Tiene secador de pelo y plancha de la ropa ( no la utilizamos pero está bien quizás para alguien ) Mariana la anfitriona muy agradable y comunicativa nos mandó las indicaciones muy bien explicadas y nos dejó hacer el check in un poco antes, siempre es de agradecer para no tener que cargar con maletas más de lo necesario .

Lo único es la cama superior, para mí no es nada cómoda porque el colchón ha de ser muy fino por el espacio tan reducido y te clavas algo que está por abajo que justo a mi me quedaba por la cintura . No la pude utilizar y dormí abajo con mi amiga. Quizás para un niño no está mal pero para un adulto es incómoda

Within easy walking distance of the east end of Princes Street and the Botanic Gardens, this apartment was tiny but perfectly formed. Aside from really good facilities it is next door but one to a garage with M&S food and a fresh coffee machine. Aside from a double bed, there is also a loft/mezzanine bed if you are not claustrophobic and can remember not to try and sit up in bed.

The main door could be a little fiddly to open/require a little jiggling of the key in the lock. As the apartment faces a busy road, I assume the windows are not opened much for ventilation. There were plenty of air fresheners in the apartment but sadly I don't think my asthmatic husband would do well with these otherwise I would be very happy to stay again.

The flat is not directly in the city centre, but it is within walking distance for those who enjoy walking, and there is a bus stop nearby with easy connections into town.

The owner has clearly put a lot of effort into decorating the flat, although I personally felt there was a little too much for such a small space, making it feel quite overpowering. My biggest issue was the strong, warm, damp feeling inside, which made it difficult to breathe comfortably. I appreciate that being on a busy road makes airing the flat more challenging, but perhaps there is a solution. As we were two friends, the owner kindly prepared the mezzanine, but I felt the sleeping area was unsafe and wouldn’t recommend offering it in its current state. My friend ultimately chose to sleep on the floor as she didn’t feel safe sleeping there. Cleanliness could also be improved, particularly around the floor edges in the kitchen and sleeping area, where there was some dust and dirt. The shower was another concern: the temperature control felt loose, and on the first night I could only get extremely hot water. This is dangerous, and as other reviews have mentioned the same issue, I would strongly recommend getting it fixed. Finally, guests are asked to take the bins outside, which I didn’t mind, but there were no instructions about where to leave the bin bags. This would be helpful to add to the house rules. Although we mainly used the flat at night, these issues still affected my stay. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again in its current state, but I hope the feedback is helpful and that some changes can be made to improve the experience for future guests.
