When it rains-it’s pretty loud, great time to sleep or turn some music or tv. If you need to bother a cooker or iron, plates anything-just ask! Location: very busy. Dozens of grocery shops, food places, street food: you will see a real Chiang mai. A block away-there are pool/ snooker clubs.if you enjoy massage-hundreds of places right there. I liked Spa Mantra ( three minutes away): real professionals. The immediate vicinity is not very touristy but the boxing stadium and Ladyboys cabaret are 7 minutes away by foot. Old town is a bit of a walk but I guarantee you will enjoy seeing real people everyday life much more. Lots of night life, Korean buffets. ITM massage school 9 minutes away by foot if you want to take a two day or 5 week course. It’s fun! The rooms are above a pharmacy: no need to worry about unwanted wild life or greasy smell. I think the owners of the pharmacy own the building. They are such great people! I stayed there almost 3 months. Can’t say anything negative. Maybe just not enough natural light ( there is a big window, I just didn’t want guests passing by see me. The beds are very comfortable ( I appreciated that when I moved to another city.you have a kettle, a refrigerator, a microwave and as I mentioned: ask the frontdesk if you miss your home food. But there are thousands of restaurants you can order delivery ( using “grab” app or by going outside). It’s a very very safe but busy area.
