I liked everything about the property. Nothing to dislike

I stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed every one of them. The property is a beautiful heritage hotel, spacious, spotlessly clean, and full of character. The real highlight, though, was the service. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, but Ashok deserves special mention. He went out of his way to make my stay comfortable, and his hospitality made me feel like guests rather than customers. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a heritage experience with excellent service. I would happily stay again.

A couple of things to be aware of: the wifi was extremely poor, so if you need to work or stay connected, plan accordingly. The hotel is also in the old city, and the surrounding streets aren't easy to explore on foot, so you'll likely rely on transport to get around.

Heritage building with a family touch & story

Could be more lively. Warm white lighting would be better.

The property is a heritage bungalow. The rooms are spacious, and the location within walking distance to the riverfront is a bonus. The staff is very attentive and courteous, and ensures you are well cared for. The charm of staying in an over 100 years old vintage bungalow is a great feel.

The property requires significant updates. The mattress is uncomfortable, the TV was not working (subscription had been deactivated), and it is very small for a room charging Taj Hotel rates. There is no hot water, and the bathroom plumbing had leaks. The mattresses are hard and certainly don't justify the steep rates being charged. Since the property borders several old houses, there is deafening noise from traffic and children shouting from neighboring areas. So if you sleep late and are not an early riser, then be prepared to be woken up by noise & shouting.
