Wow! Where do I start? The agency dealing with the villa are amazing, responsive, friendly and very helpful. Then the villa itself; I had high expectations with the pictures but they didn’t do the reality justice, it’s gorgeous. It was stylish and modern in a really practical way. The pool was perfectly heated and the ‘grass’ area was perfect and shady for my water loathing toddler to play safely with an inflatable ball (but enough sunny spots to play with him and still feel the sun myself!). The grass really softened the whole feel of the villa where most villas we have stayed in are just terrace and icon the lawn made the world of difference, and the mature trees and shrubs felt really luxurious and well cared for. The terrace in the back corner of the garden was delightful for the evening sun/snooze and the garden room off the living room was perfect for meals when the sun went down or breakfast when it was just a bit too chilly in February. If you’re going to be staying ‘out’ of the town, hiring a car, or accepting it’s just a bit too far to walk with a young family well you may as well be this far and have an incredible villa on the edge of papagayo where it’s so quiet and tranquil. We’re already trying to work out when we can visit this villa again and we’re so so sad to leave.
