Absolute favourite feature was private swimming platform in front of the apartment. Loved our morning swims and relaxing on the sun beds in the sun. Large terrace with shade was also great for relaxing. Easy walk around to Mimi’s for an excellent dinner when you don’t feel like getting in the car for the short drive to the old town or one of the close by villages for dinner. Mist times I am happy to move on to the next stay in my holiday ventures but I really did not want to leave Stowaway suites.

We were looking forward to using the hammock on the balcony but unfortunately we didn’t feel safe doing so as many of the ropes were worn and frayed.

The apartment itself was great… lovely decoration extremely clean and had everything you would need… including kayaks and a concrete jetty (not a beach) to access the water.

Just wanted to flag that this property is a good 50 minute walk into town with not much around… there are two beach clubs within walking distance but you need to pay for sun beds and the restaurants are quite expensive! So if you can get food at the market in the old town before you get there. Taxi rides are 15 to 20 euros each way into old town so can get quite expensive! The property is overlooked by a huge villa on one side and the very small pool is shared by all three apartments … I was under the impression that it was a private pool for the room. The photos and wording I believe are misleading. Just a heads up to fellow travellers!

The Vista at Stowaway Suites was just perfect for the relaxing segment of our month long holiday. We purposely booked something a little out of town for this stay, as we’d been in the centre of the action for all our other stays previous to this. It was so peaceful and relaxing and the view spectacular! Yes it is a little way to town (but we did walk it one day in around 45 mins), but the pay off was the tranquil surrounds and being able to slip into the sea right out front of the accom from the private jetty complete with sun beds. The pool was warm and inviting and the availability of kayaks for our use was a bonus that we enjoyed early one morning. The apartment itself was decorated beautifully and the fully equiped kitchen was great for cooking, so we didn’t have to go to town to eat every meal. There was a small grocery store a few minutes walk that had the basics for us to stock up on and the supplied fresh fruit, wine and ample coffee pods was a beautiful welcome gift! Mimi’s is a short 3 mins walk and also had great food and very friendly service. A big shout out to Marie the caretaker, who was so helpful at check in and throughout our stay and kept the place meticulous. Shared common area washer and dryer was a godsend!

The only thing that proved a little challenging for us as taller people, was the smaller bathroom and shower space and also the space around the sides of the bed. It was a little tight for us to move around these spaces comfortably. But this is the only minor thing!

The property was beautiful! The views were incredible and it was so nice to be in our own quiet area just a short taxi ride from Korcula old town. Mimis bistro right near us for breakfast/lunch and dinner. Beautifully clean, we’ll be back!
