The hosts were absolutely brilliant, giving us a lift to and from the accomodation, as well as recommendations for food, activities and local information! The space was bigger than we had thought, with a nice terrace outside too. The set up was super comfortable, and we had a very enjoyable week there. The location means you need to get buses into town, but I think Kyoto is pretty big so the buses make it all feel further than it is! Shops nearby, a supermarket and even a hot bento shop on the corner.
