The room is basically furnished, but newly renovated, very classy modern bathroom and a nice lilac (royal) floor carpet. It was exceptionally clean, has a flat screen LED TV with Sat-Tuner and hundreds of programs. The best of all was the adjoined Restaurant named Johann's... Very recommendable to eat in,... Pizzas are an above average standard but go for the set menu! all Starter dishes are real pieces of artwork cuisine extremely inspired creations, such as a lovely smooth Potato sorbet under 2 fillet pieces of local Salmon-Trout, that was just briefly put to touch a very hot frying pan, such that there are traces of a Maillard reaction on the surface, but left Sushi-rare internally, couldn't have hit the point better... The sorbet covered in Tsatsiki, that wasn't overdone in either cucumber or garlic, and a coarse-grained french mustard equally left in perfect balance to complement all other ingredients... fresh sprouts of cresses on top - simply gorgeous. Main course: Gentlemen's Cut Fillet of an organic (pasture-raised) Junior-Beef, rare! It was second best I ever had after a real fire-fried Fillet I'd had in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This one beat the Canadian by tenderness and juice, the Canadian was winner by 'nose'-length regarding development of 'Roast' aromas on the palate... It's a revelation . Fullstop. Service perfect in every aspect, also the recommendation to try the house made Sourdough bread... That Quality more than justified the reasonable pricing!!!!! Should any testers stop by at this place, they couldn't leave enough Chef's Caps or Stars, honestly! 2-3 ***

It was really hard to have to leave without a third night out to the Restaurant, but maybe that saved me from a seizure of gout.

Die praktische Lage, die absolute Sauberkeit, das Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten, der sehr aufmerksame Seniorchef, das bequeme Bett - rundum alles war hier wohltuend.

relativ ruhige Lage, verkehrsgünstig, gutes Restaurant im Haus, schöner See zum Spazierengehen sehr nah, Parkplatz (nur wenn man Glück hat) direkt vorm Haus

Sehr übler Geruch aus dem Abfluss im Bad, das ganze Hotel ist Baustelle und in einem Übergangsstadium, aber glücklicherweise abends oder nachts kein Lärm, insgesamt ist die Servicequalität und Aufmerksamkeit ggü. Details nicht besonders hoch, insbesondere beim Frühstück, es wirkt ein bisschen lieblos
