The host was amazing, very kind, very helpful
I didn’t have any hot water for a shower, wifi wasn’t very good

The apartment is located right in the city center, which is convenient for exploring Almaty. The host was responsive and the apartment had everything I needed for a short stay.
- The building is quite old, and it can get very cold if the city’s central heating system isn’t turned on yet.
- The “hot” water was barely warm, which made it impossible to take a proper shower during early October. I can’t imagine how it would be in winter!
- Also, there’s no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, be prepared to climb four flights of stairs.
