It is centrally located. Safe and, the property was well maintained.

Nothing, it was perfect.

I really enjoyed my stay, not least thanks to Olga being such a wonderful host. It truly felt like a home away from home. It’s a beautiful old colonial house, and despite being on a busy road the walls around the property and the building itself seems to cancel out any noise. The home cooked Guatemalan breakfast was lovely and Olga was kind enough to accommodate an early breakfast when needed. The location is perfect, on the edge of town so you’re away from the touristy bits but only a minute or two from where the cafes and restaurants start appearing. I didn’t ever feel like it was far from anything, Antigua is very small and very walkable. Olga was also very helpful with organising shuttles to Chichi market and Lake Atitlan for a good price. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else if I visit Antigua again.

I enjoyed this peaceful and quiet place, which was a nice contrast to the streets of Antigua which can be loud and chaotic. It's a homestay, but the house is quite spacious, so it never feels like you're intruding in someone else’s home. The host is very friendly. She is happy to interact and chat if you want, but also fully respects your privacy and personal space. Everything is well organized.

The house has a beautiful, authentic colonial style with a lovely garden and spacious living areas. The property itself is charming and well-decorated.

The location is further from Antigua’s center than other reviews suggest — you’re technically outside town, requiring you to cross a bridge and navigate a difficult intersection. A night guest curfew was never mentioned upfront. The owner is quite present throughout your stay, which felt intrusive for guests wanting privacy and independence. The cash-only policy was only disclosed less than 24 hours before checkout, causing a last-minute ATM run with extra fees. Water pressure in the bathroom was also very poor.
