I really enjoyed my stay here. What stood out most was the warm hospitality and friendliness of the people. The chalet was simple, clean, and charming, with a unique reed construction that gave it a lovely natural feel. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained.
There are also plenty of places to eat nearby, which was very convenient.
Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would be happy to stay here again.
Cape Maclear is a village, so some noise can be heard from the beach and from across the lodge. However, this is understandable and is the case everywhere there.

Great location, super friendly staff, very good breakfast , good security … breathtaking view
No card payment…hard currency only ( usd , euro or rand) . Place a little run down cracked tiles bathroom floor , nails sticking out . 1st day allowed hawkers in to try and sell us tours , paintings etc. Had to ask them to stop. Facility is located next to an access point for locals so you can watch them in their daily lives … but it also means you are sitting on your balcony and sometimes getting taunted by sales folks

The location and the staff
The bed took over the entire hut , no room to move and nowhere to unpack clothes. The sofa on the balcony is so big that you have to squeeze yourself onto it. The shower has exposed electrical wires, quite dangerous
The staff were wonderful and tried hard .The food was ok but always served cold🙁
