Amazing property - perfectly situated to get in/out of Frankfort and Sleeping Bear area. Lovely home, had all the necessities.

Great central location. Nice amenities like a grill, ice maker, and fire pit. Comfy king size bed. Would recommend.

Overall, we had a great stay at this listing. For a four night trip with two people, this place was nearly perfect, minor complaints aside. Let's start with the good:- Centrally located between Frankfort, Beulah, Elberta, and Benzonia, so lots of food and activity options between these towns. - Steps from Crystal Lake, easy access to water- Comfortable and large bed, lots of kitchen space - Located on a fairly quiet, calm street - Detailed welcome guide provided, in addition to being well-stocked with household items - Prompt host communication Here were a few not-so-great things:- There was a fairly strong dog odor throughout the house, particularly in the living room and main bedroom (also some pet hair found on the bed and couch)- The washing machine (which we didn't end up using) seems a bit complicated to use, based on the long instructions in the welcome guide (who wants to risk flooding a basement on vacation?).- The lock on the front door was not properly calibrated before our stay, which gave us a little scare at first (this was quickly fixed by the host).- The highway nearby was a little loud when trying to relax outside I want to clarify that my minor complaints were minor, and we were very happy with our stay. Crystal Lake is beautiful, the towns are charming, and this house gives you a comfortable place to after exploring. It was perfect for 2 people (King size bed a plus), but could comfortably fit a family of 4-6 or a group of adults
