The property was clean and beautifully designed. The interiors felt modern. Very much an interior designers work carrying this properties charm.

The biggest issue for me was the hotel’s “signature scent.” It was extremely strong and chemical-smelling and gave me an almost immediate headache. At first, we were genuinely concerned it might be some kind of treatment being used in the room, but after checking everything, we realized it was simply the scent used in the soaps and sprayed throughout the property. The location was also not ideal unless your main priority is being close to the nearby attraction. It’s on a very busy street, which made taxi pick-ups and drop-offs inconvenient. There was also an issue with our bill. The property accidentally undercharged us, then asked us to pay the remaining amount as we were checking out. Since the error was entirely on their end and the difference was only around €45, I felt they could have handled it more graciously and honoured the original amount rather than making it our problem at checkout. Overall staff were kind, but clearly inexperienced in the hospitality industry. We were upgraded, which was appreciated, although after seeing other reviews mentioning upgrades as well, I did wonder whether this may sometimes be related to room availability or overbooking.
