Andy and Gretel have made the Customs house into an amazing place to stay. We stayed in the Policeman's apartment and on arrival realized right away that we'd made a mistake to book only one night - we should have booked several just for the experience of staying in this house longer! The house is directly across from the harbor inside the breakwater. Port McDonnell is small and quaint and a good base for exploring the Limestone Coast. Note that the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom on the main floor.

We loved our stay at The Customs House, it's beautifully furnished and feels very cosy. The beds were super comfortable with lovely linens. We especially liked having access to the rear courtyard, this was a lovely spot to eat our dinner and have a morning coffee while protected from the Port Mac wind. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay. Customs house felt luxurious and was very spacious, with high ceilings) and comfortable to stay in with its old world charm. The breakfast basket was delicious and more than we could manage. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful historic place. Emma was wonderful, the suite was spacious and comfortable and the history was interesting.
