Beijing Xiaofengxian Former Residence Hotel Tiananmen Square Qianmen Store

Every member of staff was exceptional and provided the highest level of service i have ever experienced at a hotel. I am so grateful to them for making my time here so easy and comfortable. They helped me with my luggage and welcomed me so kindly. I felt really looked after from the moment I arrived at Beijing airport and the driver arranged by the hotel (no extra charge) picked me up and brought me to the hotel. I booked the ‘hutong big bed room’ and stayed for two nights. It was incredible. Loads of storage although I didn’t use it because my flight was very close. The bed had loads of pillows and was huge and SO comfortable, I loved it. The bathroom featured a heated toilet seat which was a pleasant surprise. My booking included breakfasts which i ordered the night before on a menu, selecting which time I wanted my breakfast. I loved the hot chocolate, fried dough sticks, chinese tea, and fresh hot soy milk. The lounge is beautiful and has lots of comfortable seats. The stay also included an afternoon tea which was fun (and you can elect to have it in the evening, which is what I did). Thank you sincerely to everyone. You are amazing. I would like to come back with a friend the next time I come to Beijing.

Hotel semplicemente incantevole! L’hotel è una struttura meravigliosa: si tratta di una storica costruzione immersa negli Hutong di Pechino finemente ristrutturata, che è riuscito a conservare intatti tutto il fascino e le meraviglie dell'epoca. L'atmosfera incantevole (da set cinematografico!) si unisce a uno standard di accoglienza davvero impeccabile. Ciò che rende questo posto unico, oltre alla bellezza storica e alla raffinatezza degli ambienti, è la straordinaria cura per l'ospite: il personale è stato costantemente premuroso, disponibile e sempre sorridente. Ci hanno aiutato in tutto! Al nostro arrivo ci hanno subito aiutato con le valigie portandocele in camera con un'efficienza e una cortesia esemplari. Un’attenzione deliziosa che ci ha davvero coccolato è stata il tè pomeridiano servito con dolcetti tipici: un momento di puro relax, curato nei minimi dettagli e in una location da sogno. Tornerei a Pechino solo per alloggiare in questa struttura!

Quiet location easy to walk to busy streets, staff are very helpful accommodating and English speaking. Rooms are great, plush comfortable and well kitted out. Free mini bar is a nice touch.

Have to order the breakfast the night before so if you arrive late or forget there’s no food. The addition of a communal bar would make this hotel better as the seats and foyer area all look amazing but lack the vibe that a bar has.
