Everything was top! I booked last minute on a Sunday, and boy, am I glad I chose this place! Daniella welcomed me with open arms. The community is welcoming and kind, and they helped me with everything! I had lower back problems during my stay, which affected my mobility massively. Daniella brought me breakfast in bed and cooked some of my meals while I was immobile. I’ll be forever be grateful! The house feels like a home. It’s beautifully designed, light, spacious and calm. The roof top is gorgeous and the view is breathtaking. You see the favela on the left, Christ the Redeemer on the top of the hill, the cemetery and the botanical garden on the bottom right and the bay on the far right. I also got the privilege of visiting a house that Daniella had recently built for an orphan and her family. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Rio in a unique and authentic way.

Just be aware that the location is on top of a hill in a favela so it's a task to get up there but totally worth it, PS: Don't fly a drone in the favela

Danni’s place is cute and the neighborhood is safe. Loved walking around and all the neighbors were friendly and welcoming. Danni is an amazing host and woman and she gives you the whole run down on the to dos and don’ts.. Be sure to listen to her guidance! I had such a lovely stay here and I can’t wait to come back in the future.
