Great location, only a few stairs

Bed base extends past mattress leaving about 20 cm gap to walk past the end of the bed. Almost broke my toe on it

In der Dusche fehlt eine Ablagefläche für Duschmittel und Shampoo. Es hat relativ wenig Ablage-Platz für Toiletten Utensilien

Extremely well situated, this is an absolutely great place to stay in como. Everything for check-in was simple and straightforward, and room itself was quite comfortable and cozy; good sized bathroom as well. The washing machine and ironing board came in handy to make our stay easier, and the Nespresso machine made mornings (and afternoons, and evenings honestly..) easier. Definitely would stay here again.

The location is excellent, with the ferry terminal, railway station, and plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Check-in was simple, and we received all the necessary instructions in advance. We were also kindly allowed to check in early. The host was very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. The apartment is especially suitable for a long-term stay, as it has everything needed for comfortable living, including a washing machine, fridge, TV, steamer, and other useful amenities.

The biggest issue was a strong and persistent unpleasant smell in the apartment, possibly from fish. We used the air conditioning and kept the room ventilated as much as possible, but the odor remained for our entire two-night stay and made the apartment uncomfortable. We contacted the host, who apologized and said the smell may have been left by the previous guests. They offered to come and use a spray, but this would not have addressed the underlying problem. The cleanliness was also disappointing. There was visible dirt under the bed and stains on the kitchen floor. The apartment receives very little natural light, and the windows face directly toward other windows, so the room feels dark. Because of the smell, the host did not charge us the city tax. However, this represented only about 4.14% of the total price and did not make up for the discomfort during our stay.
