Hang Mua Ecolodge

The location, the resort and rooms are quite nice. Reception staff was very helpful.

However there is a constant smell because of the water bodies. Also as I am a vegetarian I had difficulty finding good food and the restaurant staff could be a little more helpful.

The property is well developed keeping in theme with nature and the mountain. Pathways and manmade lakes and islands are made with natural stone. Rocks are also incorporated in the rooms. Rooms sre spacious and unique with bathroom windows backing onto mountais, private indoor pool etc. Staff speaks English very well and are courteous and easy to deal with. They take you from reception to you room with a golf buggy. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Breakfast is ordered off a menu and food portions were copious and well prepared. We ordered all our meals from the restaurant. We love having unlimited access to climbing Hang Mua, situated on the property, with 500 huge stone steps. The 360 degree views from the top are spectacular. You overlook the Tamcoc river and boat rides from Hang Mua. We had the family room with private pool. The water is not heated but were a pleasant temperature to swim.

You have to take a taxi to the Tamcoc and Trang An boat rides, however we choose the hotel everytime we come to Ninh Binh due to the exceptional style of thel odge, and unlimited access to climbing Hang Mua.

Staying at Hanghua Eco Lodge was truly an experience in itself. The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and mountains, and it feels incredibly peaceful and special from the moment you arrive. We stayed in a bungalow and absolutely loved it. The room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable, with a gorgeous bathtub and lovely amenities. Everything felt carefully designed to blend with the natural surroundings while still being very comfortable. One of the biggest surprises was the breakfast. Instead of a traditional buffet, breakfast is à la carte and you can order whatever you would like from the menu. Everything we tried was delicious, freshly prepared and beautifully presented. We really enjoyed being able to choose different dishes and order exactly what we wanted. The entire property is stunning. Walking along the little paths surrounded by lush gardens, fields and mountain scenery is part of the experience itself. The views are beautiful during the day, and at night the hotel becomes even more magical when everything is illuminated. The spa area also looked absolutely beautiful. This is much more than just a place to sleep — staying here is part of the travel experience. It is the perfect place if you want to disconnect, enjoy nature and stay somewhere unique and peaceful. We genuinely loved our stay and would absolutely recommend it.

Breakfast was kinf of basic, a little more options. Tek nights there wasn’t warm water in the shower.
