Hotel Villa España

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. This was our first visit. Reception area is lovely and bright and clean. There are plenty of lifts and staff checked us in quickly and told us about the fees for the cups (which I didnt understand at first) but agree this is a good thing. Fees for towels and safe were also relayed to us. The rooms are lovely (thought they were a bit small at first compared to other hotels) but not an issue as there is a huge balcony with lovely huge sunlounger and table and chairs. bathroom facilities were great and really enjoyed the shower with massive showerhead. It was great having a fridge in the room to keep drinks and water cool and it was a nice touch having a bottle of fizz already in the fridge. Beds were really comfortable and the cleaners did a great job every day of cleaning our room and making up our bed. They are a credit to the hotel. We found the rooms to be really quiet and could not hear other guests or any noise from outside. The only thing about the room is that it got very warm, we tried to fiddle with the air con but couldnt get it to work (we should have contacted reception but it was near the end of the holiday so we didnt bother). We were bed and breakfast and there was everything you needed for breakfast which was lovely. Dining room is a bit noisy but it is a busy hotel. Pools and rooftap bar were great but very busy and we only managed to secure a sunbed one day. It was nice to see security around the pool bar as he kept people away from the side of the pool with their drinks and warned them not to take food/crips into the pool. He stayed around for a while too which I think was a good idea so a shout out to him for that.

The rooftop bar, although we enjoyed it, could be a lot better. It is very open with little shade and lots of the parasols were broken and it left it a bit shabby looking. The sun loungers are great but again it is very hot and some parasols over the sun loungers would be appreciated. There needs to be additional safety measures on the steps upto and into the rooftop pool. We witnessed two people fall/slip on the steps and one lady had quite nasty fall and hit her head on the way down. The rail also into that pool was loose one day and it was removed the next day so it was quite unsafe getting into the pool without the rail there.

En general todo nos encantó. La habitación superó nuestras expectativas tenía hasta jacuzzi en la terraza. El bufet muy variado y el personal en general de todo el hotel super amables y grandes profesionales

Tuvimos suerte de poder aparcar el coche en el parking ya que esa zona si vas con coche es imposible aparcar en la calle. El parking no tiene muchas plazas disponibles

Beautiful clean well spec'd hotel. Family staff made for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Breakfast was good quality.

Not made aware going bed and breakfast doesn't give access to the spa facilities.

The roof Terrace is lovely. Breakfast was unbelievable.

When I booked the hotel, it said that it has parking so that’s why I booked this hotel but when we arrived we’ve been told by the reception there is no car park available so we had to drive around for 40 minutes until we found the place to park this is the big downside of the hotel also we booked a hotel for two people and the room had two single beds. The mattresses were separating all the time so we couldn’t sleep properly.
