Very close to the main street and a few blocks from the Southsea train station. Good restaurants near you or even close by short walking. The directions that Karl gives you are very accurate and helpful. We were in rm 7 which is 2 stories to climb with any luggage without help. Very well stocked kitchen for whatever you need with a washing machine. There is a dryer rack and clothes were pretty dry by morning. Good space for 2 people. Bathroom is small with hot water. Pretty typical. Bed is uncomfortable and had no support. Notified Karl of this and he got us extra padding for our 3rd and last night. Hopefully this gets fixed. Outlets by each side of bed and thru out room Which is great. It was a hot week, not typical. Had 2 fans in room which did help.

Mattress had no support. As above.

Everything was good

Wasnt keen on the shower..but i did private message the owner. So he could sort it..he just was not aware

The stay for us was a perfect location. Large fridge and washing machine were very handy.

The stairs with large cases was more funny than annoying, bit of an effort to lug them to the top

The apartment had all the facilities that I needed: kitchen with utensils to cook, microwave and hob. The streaming service on the TV is better than the basic channels. The layout made good use of the space with a table and chairs and a sofa in the combined bedroom and living room/kitchen. Salt, pepper , tea, coffee granules, sugar and a kettle are provided. The location is great. 7 minutes from the station. Communication with the host was prompt.

The stairs up to the second floor might be a challenge with heavy luggage. Leading up to the entrance is a bit grim with bird droppings outside. The rug in the bathroom is unnecessary.
