Lawani Resort

It's a very atmospheric place, and I don't regret staying there overnight. I can recommend it, but understand that this is a house in the countryside and there might be small insects in the room. The grounds are excellent, green and beautiful, with two parking lots, but they're small. The restaurant is tasty and fast. The specialty is the average portions. Breakfast is okay. The rooms are nice, plenty of space, and the toilets are decent. There were a few complaints about the bathroom. Cons: average soundproofing, creaky beds. Small insects are possible, but there are remedies for them. Perhaps the main issue is the very loud sound of cicadas, really loud and impossible to do anything about. They quiet down around midnight. There is a pool in the room, but the water is cold (for me).

While we had a pleasant stay overall, this is probably not a place we would personally return to. In our opinion, the villas would benefit from more maintenance and updating. There were several areas that felt worn, outdated, or in need of repair, particularly the bathrooms. Considering the price point, we felt the overall value did not fully meet our expectations. We were also disappointed with the restaurant food, which did not live up to the standard we had hoped for. That said, the staff was truly exceptional and easily the highlight of our stay. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive, and a special thank you goes to Yuika, who was outstanding. She was always present, helpful, and genuinely cared about every detail of our experience. We appreciate the hospitality we received and wish the team all the best moving forward.
