Incredible accommodation like no other! Steeped in history, perfect location, excellent facilities and homely feel! We stayed at the Catacombes for a long weekend in September! My wife, Dad, brother and partner and I were visiting Plymouth for the weekend and could not have picked a better base for the trip! The Catacombes was so nice that we could have stayed in the whole time!! Very central location! Less than two minutes from Plymouth Gin and the Barbican; 3 minute walk to the Mayflower steps and a 10 minute walk from the lighthouse (Hoe). Exceptionally clean without a spec of dust!! Andy was extremely welcoming with information etc over message and email! We had a few questions which Andy was extremely happy to help with! We couldn’t have felt more welcome! We had a takeaway fish and chips and ate out twice. But the Catacombes has excellent (modern) cooking facilities if you did want to cook! Fantastic modern facilities! We will be back!!

That we are not still there (nothing at all!!!)

We had a great stay at the Catacombs in Plymouth. The location was excellent and it was perfect for what we needed. The accommodation felt homely, and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay.

The only downside was the single bedroom, it often smelt damp and musty. Unfortunately the room felt quite humid and we couldn’t leave any clothes in there as they ended up feeling damp too. We just made do and kept the doors open to allow a little airflow.

Attention to detail, warm and cozy, felt like home

Main bedroom very warm, needs better fan

I have never collected keys in this way before so I was a little worried. It turns out I had no need to worry as it was such an easy process. I absolutely loved the style of the Catacombs. It was impeccably designed, with a unique character and an exceptionally high standard of finish. Its stylish interior, felt warm, welcoming, and homely, making it a truly special place to stay.

I loved everything about it. There was not a thing I did not like.
