A stunning gem of a place. The space, decor and facilities was top notch. From the linen bedding to the stunning view of the castle. It was located in one of the old commercial buildings so steeped in history with a stunning entrance way. Superb, if like me, you like old buildings and architecture. Also fantastically centrally located and just down from the station so very easy to hop to other towns in the Rhine.

Almost nothing. One small note is that the property is right next to the railway. There is a consistent thrum of freight running past which meant it was not possible to keep the windows open when sleeping at night. The railway can be heard from most spots in town but this apartment is right next to it. Ear plugs would have solved this easily. And honestly it was an inconvenience worth trading for the rest of this places charm.

Beautiful property, conveniently located to explore this area of the country. We liked how it was only a few seconds walk to the middle of Sankt Goar with a small supermarket close by and a few restaurants. The parking was a big plus for us. Barbara was an excellent host. Everything was very clean and new, and the kitchen was very well equipped.

Those familiar with the area will know Sankt Goat has a Trainline running right through it and they do pass close by to the property.

Flur sehr alt und modriger Geruch Dusche - warmes Wasser war etwas schwierig

Wohnzimmer, Bad und das große Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön, und modern eingerichtet.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen in der Wohnung, meine Frau und ich, unser Erwachsener Sohn und ein Freund von uns. Sollte bei 3 Schlafzimmern ja kein Problem sein. War es aber da das dritte Schlafzimmer nur durch Schlafzimmer Nr 2 zu erreichen war. Und das im Internet angegebene Französische Bett war ein Klappsofa. Ausserdem gab es in Schlafzimmer 1+3 keine Möglichkeit seine Kleidung zu verstauen,man lebte also aus dem Koffer. Ausserdem gab es in der Küche keine Dunstabzugshaube, so das bei unserem ersten Kochen nach einer Minute der Rauchmelder ansprang. Kochen also nur mit weit geöffnetem Fenster und Durchzug möglich.
