Diversity and people from different continents should also be given due consideration and deserved regard.

Easy remote check in. Staff were cool and fun to talk to, gave a lot of good recommendations. $10 same day laundry service was really convenient. Lots of events in the common room, but even then, the hostel was pretty quiet after 10pm so it was easy to wind down and sleep. The chinatown neighborhood is safe and walkable. Around the hostel, there’s lots of businesses and food spots to visit, and access to transit.

Capsules themselves- Fell from the capsule ladder as there isn’t much railing, not really soundproof at all (could hear other roommates clearly), the capsule shutters would rattle/slam when moving at all. Couldn’t use my locker as it was too tall (Over 5 ft off the ground). This hostel has single bathrooms, but no stalls. They were often occupied, so finding a room to shower or use the restroom could be inconvenient. Safety/Security- Door to the women’s dorm didn’t lock or latch, even though keypad worked. Anyone could open the door, even without a code, if they wanted to.

The pods themselves were very clean, spacious, private and comfortable. Outside the pod rooms was another story however. The kitchen and common area were very well done and is very inviting. Check-in process was seamless and very easy to use and the house felt very safe and secure.

The entire house had a faint smell of vomit. I understand the experience will depend entirely on who else you're staying with so I may have gotten unlucky with a crew of party-goers, but the cleaning staff can do a better job of maintaining the bathrooms. Toilets were not flushing, vomit was left in bathrooms, and one bathroom had the entire floor soaked in water. The locks to the pod rooms are very loud can actually be heard while inside your individual pod.
