Our hosts were amazing, the barge was in a super location and very comfortable.
The only downside was our experience of the local area on the first evening which was nothing to do with the barge or the hosts, we cannot rate them highly enough.

Comfortable, cosy and clean.
Lovely walk to Cookham.

The location and view was fantastic. Very cozy and private while looking out onto the Thames. The wet room facilities were great — we expected what you might find on a boat or a train and they far exceeded that — Small, but bigger than expected and clean and efficient. The hosts were very responsive and friendly.

Can’t fault the location and responsiveness of the owners.
My husband struggled with the ceiling heights as he’s tall so be aware. I’m short and I struggled with the difference in floor levels some high steps within the barge itself. The bed has a roll together in the middle of the mattress.
