Great view of the mountains & lake from the rear lounge. Very quiet. Easy walk (flat terrain) to the lake and town centre (15-20 mins). Very spacious, reasonably clean and provided most facilities for a short stay.
The decor was dated. Mainly clean but also a few cobwebs. Unfortunately the beds weren't very comfortable and quite pricey for the state of the property (especially compared to other places we experienced in NZ). Missing a few thoughtful "creature comforts" we experienced with other facilities with a similar price point.

Nice location, fairly close to town and Lake Te Anau.Good size kitchen, dining, and living areas.
Loved having a full washer and a dryer.
Did not use the garage but that would be nice in poor weather.
Some items could be updated in the house.
The 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds is a bit small - especially for adults. Floors (mostly in this bedroom) squeak very loud.

Très grande maison avec beaucoup d’espace et une superbe vue sur les montagnes
Un peu vieillot et les robinets n’ont pas de mitigeur

"Very comfortable, spacious, quiet home next to the lake in Te Anau. Convenient. Walked from lodging along the lake. Few minutes to grocery store. Closer to Milford Sound than Queenstown. Good kitchen..."
