We returned to this beautiful cottage and loved staying here again. It has been recently renovated, so everything feels fresh and welcoming, and the new bathroom is beautiful. There’s plenty of space, it was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the spacious outdoor area, perfect for relaxing or having a braai. The beach, cafés and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. We’d happily come back again!

Everything was exactly as expected.

Very clean and aesthetically pleasing and peaceful .

Better broom facility , iron and ironing board and spoons for cooking .

We had an amazing stay at this place. The house is very large and spacious, exactly as described: spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. The location couldn’t be better: a quiet, peaceful area just a short walk from the beach and all the local restaurants. The outdoor garden was great to read, relax, or enjoy breakfast in the morning sun. We also loved the grill perfect for a proper barbecue and great evenings outside. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and everything from check-in to check-out went perfectly.

everything perfect

This cottage in Scalbrough is truly one of the best I have stayed in. It is spacious, bright, and one of the largest in the area. The layout is fantastic, with a huge bedroom and a spacious living room. It is super clean and tidy. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, and there is even Apple Pay, Netflix, and perfect Wi-Fi. The location couldn't be better, is right in front of Cape Point, in a quiet area but still just 5-10 minutes on foot from restaurants and the beach. It is ideal for a couple, but also great for 3 people or friends or even for remote work. The Wi-Fi works seamlessly, even with load-shading. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone visiting Scalbrough.
