A very nice hotel with a lot of character and a pleasant atmosphere. The building and surroundings have a distinctive historic feel, which makes the stay more interesting than a standard modern hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The food in the restaurant at evening meal was excellent.
The breakfast was good, with a reasonable selection and enough choice to start the day.
Overall, a pleasant stay in a charming hotel. I would be happy to stay here again when visiting the area.
Some parts of the hotel have an older feel, which may not suit everyone looking for a completely modern hotel.
The restaurant is convenient, although I found the food a little expensive for what it was. Also, there was no draught beer in the restaurant, which was a bit disappointing.

Brødet til frokost var veldig godt. Kaffe’n var veldig god. Beliggenhet, var kanskje det beste ved plassen rett ved en park og gangavstand til sentrum. På toppen av dette fikk man en følelse at man lå på et gammelt slott.
Frokost kan bli bedre dessverre. Egget var ikke kokt og rundstykkene var ikke stekt. Smøret var knall hard. Jeg savnet kaldt vann.

The location is really cool and the surrounding is very green and nice!
The room was not very clean, everything was quite old (which of course makes sense) but also not maintained super great (which doesn't make sense).
The bed was okay, but all in all it wasn't worth the quite steep price, especially since there's many top quality hotel rooms at competitors at a lower price range.
