To the friendly man at the front desk - we thank you for a lovely stay and for the safe and secure scooter parking.
- The refrigerator was a welcome addition but it was very, very small
- Not the best value room we've had in Laos, but this is Luang Prabang...
- We knew the room was small from the photos on Booking, but it seemed even smaller in person
- Our room was located directly off the reception/lobby area
There are just a few small observations from our stay however these wouldn't discourage us from staying at Chalern Guesthouse again.

Great location near the night market and main temples but very quiet. Friendly family running the hotel. Rooms simple but clean.

Calme, propre, tout en étant très proche du centre.
Pas de petit déjeuner proposé, mais étant très proche des commodités, cela ne représentant pas un inconvénient

The location is very central in the morning and night market with great price.
The host is friendly and support us to leave luggages after check out. Moreover, he charged us just a bit fee for extra time living.
Smell gas in the lunch because the neighbor cook
