The worst experience of my life that ruined my stay, I wonder how that room is allowed to be used.

The location is good.

The room was not as advertised & extremely small even for a child.

Housekeeper is warm and friendly. The house is cozy and comfortable, but slightly dusty.

Cozy, warm, comfortable, hospitable.

Room was a little dusty - triggered mild allergies.

disgusting place

mnothing!

my first experience was that the owner of this property was not at the property at the time we stated we would arrive and after trying to make contact via phone which was unsuccessful 4 times i resorted to email which was answered and was given instructions to enter the property . upon seeing the room it was apparent from the smell that there had been some animal in the room ,then on closer inspection there was what appeared to be cat hairs all over the bed . the bed sheets were also damp , maybe from washing , i dont know . once decided that this room was completely unhygienic, the decision was made to leave so upon looking for the owner more suprises were to be found in the kitchen area , IT WAS A BOMBSITE , absolutely filthy , flies all over the kitchen work surfaces and generally looked like unfunctional as a home. i left promptly after contacting via email that we would not stay there and was approached by the woman with a " whats your problem" , so after leaving i wrote to ask for a refund , i also contacted booking to make them aware of the situation . booking couldnt reach an agreement with the property owner so i hav e paid £50 for a bad experience . i would avoid this place !

Excellent location and didn't have breakfast.

Nothing to add.

The host Christine and her ginger Mancoon cat Cheshire were both great! I could leave whenever I wanted and did so at 00:40am to drive home traffic free with only lorry drivers on the motorways. I enjoyed our nice friendly chat in the garden.

Breakfast would have been a nice touch but it wasn't the end of the World as you could get a big breakfast at the nearby Morrisons supermarket. Also a nice fish & chip shop (must pay in cash only) and a couple of good pubs locally situated.

Feeling at home and the landlady Abbey going out of her way to support my stay.

More written advice on how to flush the toilets and a visual guide to my bedroom so I’m aware of the dangers instead of being told too much verbally.
